• β€Ί The Weird Residents of EverFlow (Yes, They All Have Names)

    Meet the Residents of EverFlow

    The Non-Human Edition β€” They’re Real Legends.

I’ve always named things. Objects. Plants. Animals. Yeah, pretty much anything that sticks around long enough. With weird names. With random names. With absolutely no explanation.

Lately I’ve been asking myself “Why do I do this?” Honestly… I have no idea. I can’t even answer my own question.

So I figured it’s finally time to introduce a few of the residents of EverFlow. πŸ–€

The image above gives you the short version. Here’s a little more about what they (some of them) actually do around EverFlow.

    🌿 Garden Protectors

    🌴 Fartranden (FartStripe)
The yucca palm with an attitude. Professional eavesdropper. Part-time ninja.
    Occupation: Looking suspiciously plant-like.

🦩 Mohammed – The Garden Flamingo
Just stands there. Judges everyone. Protects absolutely nothing… …or maybe everything. Occupation: Head of Security.

    πŸ•· Hubert & The Gang
Every spider automatically becomes Hubert (with other names). Together they make up a tiny mafia whose only mission is eliminating bugs and other unwanted visitors. Occupation: Pest Control.

✨ Sparklefart – The troublemaker. Highly energetic. Extremely dramatic. Charges first. Asks questions later… maybe, but probably not. Leaves a trail of glitter wherever chaos occurs. Occasionally picks fights with people using their horn for reasons still under investigation. Occupation: Head of Chaos.

    🏑 Other EverFlow Residents

    🐱 Toulula Marie
The angelic spirit protector of EverFlow.
    Forever family. πŸ–€
🐹 Masina (also known as Muskeville)
    Small. Cute. Pure chaos.
    Occupation: Former terrorist.

Now I just need names for the rest of the Lawn Mower Mafia… and somehow convince my R10 to reveal its true identity.

Let’s be honest… more residents will probably show up sooner or later.

Knowing me, more residents will probably move into the EverFlow household sooner or later… so stay tuned. πŸ–€

Yes… I have ADHD and apparently my brain thinks everything deserves a name.

Do you name random objects too… or should I be slightly concerned?

  • β€Ί How ADHD Affects the Way I Communicate and Hold Conversations

Having conversations with ADHD can feel chaotic, fast, and unpredictable. My brain can jump between topics within secondsβ€”unless the conversation goes deep, where hyperfocus often takes over instead.

Honestly, anything β€” except politics, racism, war, etc.

It actually depends on how the conversation flows between me and the other person. If it were only about me talking about something, I probably wouldn’t be able to decide what to talk about once my ADHD brain kicks in, because I can go from one subject to another within 0.2 seconds.

So me keeping track of a conversation I started would be almost impossible β€” unless it’s a deep conversation. Then my ADHD behaves.

    But random talks? Oh wow.

I can go from SparkleFart the unicorn to FartStripes to completely made-up things.

Haha, I’ll explain SparkleFart and FartStripes.

I used to play a game called Whiteout Survival, and there was a pack you could buy that included a unicorn used when marching to attack.

She sparkled when she marched, so that’s where β€œSparkle” came from β€” but it also looked like she was farting sparkles, so that’s how I came up with SparkleFart.

FartStripe was the name I gave a yucca palm. Don’t ask me why. I honestly have no idea.

FartStripe is FartRanden in Swedish, so FartRanden translates to FartStripe.

That’s the story behind those two names.

So yeah, having a conversation with me would never be boring for you.

  • β€Ί Last-Minute Shopping in Sofia Before My Day Trip to NiΕ‘, Serbia

    Good evening from Sofia, Bulgaria!

I hope you’re all doing well! Me, on the other hand, am melting away in this heat. πŸ₯΅

I went shopping today. I bought an ugly and I mean UGLY Nike backpack to use tomorrow and on Wednesday. Yes, I actually planned ahead for once. πŸ˜‚ My son will be using it for school afterwards, so it’s not just for these two trips.

Today’s shopping (God, I’ve been shopping so much while I’ve been here. I’ll make a full list later… if I can remember everything.)

    βœ… Backpack
    βœ… Sports drinks
    βœ… Salted chips
    βœ… Pepsi Max

I’ve already packed my backpack for tomorrow since I’m trying to stay awake all night so I don’t miss the subway to the bus station. My bus to NiΕ‘, Serbia leaves at 7:30 a.m. πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

    Nope… I still haven’t slept.

    βœ… Extra clothes
    βœ… Drinks
    βœ… Chips
    βœ… Passport
    βœ… Medicines
    βœ… Extra bag
    βœ… Electronics
         ➀ Camera battery charger
         ➀ Phone charger
         ➀ Two power banks
         ➀ Extra camera batteries
         ➀ Camera
         ➀ Two lenses
    βœ… One pair of shoes
    βœ… Hand sanitizer
    βœ… Wipes

That’s pretty much it. I’ve probably forgotten something, but right now I’m lying in bed trying to get some rest. I’ve set 15 alarms, so hopefully I’ll actually wake up and get my ass to the subway in time.

These two day trips are just the tip of the iceberg. I’ll finally be able to cross a few things off my bucket list. Even if it’s only for a few hours, I’m still visiting three countries in two weeks. That’s a lot for me, and I’m beyond excited!

    On another note…
My vacation is coming to an end, and that makes me feel a little bit of everything.
I’m sad because the time has gone by so fast, but I’m also happy because I’ll finally get to kiss my baby boy and give him the biggest hug. ❀️

  • β€Ί ADHD Chaos: I Accidentally Booked Two Day Trips

    ✨️ Whoopsii ✨️

    MORE ADHD CHAOS!
And trust me, this is even worse than the purple hair dye!

It’s currently 5 a.m. here in Bulgaria, and I just had a crazy idea. Since I was bored, I opened Google to see if I could visit another country bordering Bulgaria while I’m here in Sofia.

Being bored & having ADHD is clearly a dangerous combination πŸ˜‚

    OOPS!.. I DID SOMETHING!

    Adventure time!

Two Day trips within three days.
    Two different countries!

    Pinch me!

    Monday (20th) ➜ NiΕ‘, Serbia πŸ‡·πŸ‡Έ
    Wednesday (22nd) ➜ Skopje, North Macedonia πŸ‡²πŸ‡°

    AAH! I AM SO EXCITED!!

The buses leave ridiculously early both times, but hey… I managed to stay awake when I travelled to Bulgaria, so I don’t think it’ll be a problem.

Guys… a day trip to another country? Twice?!
I’m beyond excited, but I’m also in complete shock. I knew it was possible to visit another country within a few hours, but this? This is absolutely ridiculous!

Before I fly home to Sweden on the 24th, I’ll have visited two more countries.

So this vacation will officially look like this:
    Sweden ➜ Bulgaria ➜ Serbia ➜ Bulgaria ➜ North Macedonia ➜ Bulgaria ➜ Sweden

    How crazy is that?

Funny little fact: I was actually planning to spend my vacation in Skopje, North Macedonia, but at the very last minute I changed my mind and booked Sofia instead.

Looks like I’m getting to visit Skopje after all!

Well… I guess my ADHD brain planned the rest of my vacation. I got bored in Bulgaria and somehow end up booking day trips to two different countries. Let’s see if this turns out to be the best idea I’ve ever had… or the worst. πŸ˜‚ Who knows? It might be the best part of the trip.

But honestly, sometimes, having ADHD can be both a blessing but also a curse. At this moment, its a mix of both. A blessing because it came up with these ideas and curse because it made me purchase the tickets.

Life with ✨️ ADHD ✨️ is wonderful.. sometimes.

  • β€Ί 32 Hours Awake: Sleep Deprivation, Parenting & Pure Survival Mode

32+ hours awake, one overenergized child, zero brain cells, and caffeine as a personality trait. Welcome to survival mode. πŸ˜„πŸ–€πŸ’€

Guess what? I still haven’t gotten any sleep.

    It’s currently 5 PM, and I can honestly say: I A M D E A D.
Not literally, but you get what I mean.

My son is still all over the place, full of energy, and I’m honestly jealous. If I had even one percent of his energy, I’d be happy.

    Headache βœ…
    Sound sensitive βœ…
    Light sensitive βœ…

I was hoping I’d at least get a nap during the day, but with my luck… I doubt it.

I need to keep E awake for the rest of the day, otherwise I’ll probably have another night like this, and my body and mental health honestly can’t handle that.

So here we go πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’« A few more hours to survive.

I’m praying he sleeps tonight because I have a super important meeting tomorrow that I absolutely need to attend.

I’ve officially been awake for 32 hours and 30 minutes… and I definitely feel it.

    How’s your day?
