Shopping adventure today. Honestly, i have no idea how much i have spent on shopping in september til today. Most of the stuff have been for the home but I have also spoiled myself a bit.

But first, energy drink. Today I tried this one for the first time. I bought it yesterday but didn’t drink it til today.

Honestly, it sorta kinda beats my Celsius strawberry lemon flavor. This was delicious so I have to give this a 4 out of five. Do you have a flavor you like more?

Today’s shopping was a new shoe rack to have outside my door at home where we can put shoes after been outside in rain and soon snow. I hate the shoes inside. More baskets for organizing at home. I think i have an addiction to buy those honestly.

I also bought a XXL size of toolbox – why?.. for my makeup! HAHA! YES I’M SERIOUS! A toolbox!! I already had my make up in a small pink toolbox but also in four boxes filled with makeup things. Yes, four boxes plus the toolbox. Apparently, my makeup collection needs it’s own warehouse. Luckily, buying more stuff to fill the warehouse has stopped. For now.. 🥲 . So yes, the natural logical solution was to buy an even BIGGER toolbox.

Do I need all this makeup? Probably not. Will I keep buying beauty products anyway? Let’s not talk about that. 🥲
MIMA, PLEASE GET YOUR LIFE TOGETHER. 😂

I also bought some beauty stuff to try and see if my hair gets better and my skin. My hair is so dry, frizzy and damaged (I know, people say to me to cut my hair off but I don’t want to again) so when i saw this I wanted to try it. I also bought some skincare – I know! MIMA, you have so much! – yes.. I know. I still have stuff i bought in Bulgaria that I haven’t used as well but I’m desperate! I want my freckles and sun damage to lighten up or better yet, vanish completely.

I also bought new in-ears headphones that I can use while sleeping. Sleeping with those big chunky ones is so uncomfortable and I am in a period where I listen to music while sleeping. I haven’t been in a period like this for years! So let’s see how long it lasts.

I have lately become obsessed with Thai food. Ever since Elin and I ate last time at the restaurant.  I dont remember what the name of the dishes was (read here) but luckily I took picture of it (as usually when we eat out) and I did a chatgpt search just to try help identify what dish it was but I wasn’t sure of it to be honest so I started to ask what sauces they use in Thai food. Oyster sauce – that sounded scary! I have never had that (Oysters) but if they use it in the food, I had to buy! It also said fish sauce but I draw the line there. No thank you!

I have been googling, chatgpt-ing, looked around, spoken to a chef I play game with and hunting. I decided to try make my own food and ohmygod.  I am obsessed!

I make with beef, meat and chicken! And alot of vegetables! Ofcourse – no rice or anything. Tried with one dish and it was an instantly no. Why? I can eat it with the food on restaurants but when I tried at home, no. I don’t know why but rice didn’t/  dont match to the dishes.

Honestly, I’m getting more interested in flavors and want to try different kind of Thai food. I don’t know which one is good though. I am very picky when it comes to food.

Super expensive! This four things cost me around $40!

What was most expensive was the meat! Oh my god! $25 dollars for a small package of thin slices. Crazy!

Me looking at the price: EXCUSE ME?!
The beef: You wanted Thai food, didn’t you?
My wallet: We need to talk. 😂

I’m constantly looking for new to add in my wok mix. So far I have only used like cabbage, bell peppers, onions, and bamboo plus meat or chicken.

Bath time, relaxing and just.. breathe (and sneeze)

First time I made it, I did with beef and I was treating myself a bath due to pain and hunting for ingredients the whole day. When I finally taste it.. oh it was so good! Super spicy but delicious.  I noticed that I sneeze if I eat too strong food apparently. Every time I have eaten the thaifood I sneeze like a crazy person! It is only when I eat the one i have made. Not restaurants!

Apparently my homemade Thai food comes with a bonus feature: sneezing.
    Restaurant Thai food? No problem.
My own cooking? ACHOO! ACHOO! ACHOO!
I don’t know what I’m doing differently, but apparently my wok has chosen violence. 😂

But I can honestly say – it was way more tasty than the restaurants. Hard to believe actually but now I can save alot of money by making my own Thai food and not spend $$$ . Sure the things were expensive (the meat) but I have put in freezer so I can make four more dishes! HAPPY MIMA!

I wonder how long this obsession will be. But hey, its kinda “healthy” so why not?

I want to try all kinds of works, mixes etc when it comes to the food but im terrified that I wont like it.

What’s your favorite Thai dish and should i try make it or any other ? Do you have a favorite wok combination?

Oh by the way, if you can’t find the can opener – use a screwdriver and a hammer. A challenge but it worked! Ofcourse I washed the bamboo and even boiled it before adding it to the wok.

Yes.. i used a screwdriver,  hammer and a grippy thing to twist the lid open.
