• β€Ί Travel Note: From Sofia to Skopje – Rain, Wrong Turns & A New Adventure

Good morning my beautiful EverFlow family. πŸ–€ I hope you’re all doing good!

I know I didn’t share any photos from NiΕ‘, Serbia yesterday. I was completely k.o. when I got back to the hotel. I actually fell asleep on the bus, so a person woke me up at the border so when it was control, after that i was awake the rest of the way back to Sofia. At the hotel i was completely knocked out and woke up at 2:32 PM yesterday!

But I promise I’ll show you all the photos from NiΕ‘! Don’t worry. I will show everything (except from camera because I haven’t export to the hard drive yet – will do when back home in Sweden)

NEXT STOP ➀ SKOPJE, NORTH MACEDONIA

I’m currently on the bus, heading to Skopje, North Macedonia. Let’s go!!

This morning has been brutal though. Rain, wet shoes, and I forgot to pack an extra pair of socks, which sucks!

But while I was waiting for the bus, I realized something. I don’t think anyone talks about this part of traveling enough. The part where you’re standing at an unfamiliar bus station before sunrise, trying to figure out where you’re supposed to be. But after a confusing morning with alot of stress, almost cry panicking and a few wrong turns, I finally found Sector 41.

I guess sometimes the journey starts long before you reach your destination.

And honestly, finding the bus to NiΕ‘ was easy but finding this one? Oh my god…

  • β€Ί Why I Don’t Feel Like I Belong in Sweden β€” My Travel Dreams & Bucket List

Not about escaping β€” it’s about finding where my soul feels at home beyond Sweden

    β€” Porch Talk β€”

All my life I’ve felt like there is something more out there for me. Discover hidden gems, see how people live in different parts of the world. Explore, discover and experience.

Not in a dramatic β€œI hate everything here” kind of way (almost though) β€” I may be born in Sweden but the urge to “escape” is huge.

I want to go all over the world – Spain, Greece, America, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Kenya and so many more places.

I want to see and experience culture, food, streets and everything. Not tourist things but those hidden alleys with stories of each person in each household. See their windows, flowers, garden, back alleys (all this of course without trespassing or being a creep) and see, just their personality.

Traveling, for me, isn’t just about checking off tourist spots and bucket list to be honest β€” even though I have some special places I wish to go to. It’s about feeling something.

Maybe it looks like escaping. Maybe part of it is. But I think it’s more about searching for something I haven’t found yet.

It’s not about escaping Sweden β€” it’s about finding the right place for me whether it’s in Norway, Spain or Vietnam or somewhere else.
It’s more about this constant feeling of wanting to explore what exists beyond what I already know.

I want freedom. I want to feel like myself without needing to hide. I want to explore the world together with my son.

Maybe that is what I’m searching for β€” not just places, but pieces of myself.

Explore. See. Feel. Hear. Touch. Breathe.

    β€” Question Jar β€”

    ● Do you think home is a place, a person, or a feeling?
    ● Have you ever felt like you were born in the wrong place?

    ● If you could disappear to anywhere for a year β€” where would you go?
