Childhood, Sunday and an update of my back
Good afternoon from Sweden!I I hope you all are doing good today! My back is feeling much better thankfully but it still hurts! Buuuut its saturday, the sun is shining and it’s a cold breeze outside. Finally it feels like autumn / fall. Yesterday it was like mid-summer tempeture which I did not complain about but my husband even said “is it summer or is it fall?” that was a very good question. Anyway, todays agenda says laundry again but hey, it has to be done. Also my husband wants to go wash his car and I thought I could go with him on that.. get away from home a bit so yay! We actually went out for a car ride yesterday and lord my back was in so much pain. But worth it because I got some alone time with him and we actually went out to a fastfood place and ate before he had to go to work.
During our car ride I showed him the location where I grew up and it made me sad because it was so much changed but it kinda gave me an ending of the chapel. I haven’t seen the house for years and I’ve been missing the house for a long long time, wishing to go back and live in it but im glad I dont because an other family with children lives there and it is their time to find out how special the house is.
Ouff way back in the past but like I said, that chapter is now closed and I’m thankful for all the years I had in that house.
Okej, I just wanted to tell you guys a little what I did yesterday and an update of my back. Now I’m gonna wrap this blogpost up to get ready to go wash the car and have a fun laughing time with my husband as we use to during car rides. I need to look up for fun games to do.. Do you have any suggestions? Would be fun. We already to licens plates (In Sweden we have 3 letters and 3 numbers on the plates) and come up with words etc. Like LMM = Love Me Much. Ihope you get the points. Kinda hard to explain on english when that language aren’t my first language.Anyway, I hope you all have a good and cozy sunday with your loved ones and I’ll blog more later.

End Of The Summer | Tradition Every Year
END OF SUMMER CRUISING
a tradition where I now live. Fun part this year my brother attended with his old American. I had sent him a message asking if he was there and he said yes so I told him that E was standing in his window looking. So cute! it was my brother, one of his daughters and the wife (she drove) and that stopped the cruising just to honk and wave a lot to E 🥰 cutest part; when they drove again, E said “bye bye!” and waved 🥺 that’d adorable.

I love the fact that anyone can join, even if you have a regular car. 🥰 I grew up with old American cars, the rockabilly culture etc so having my son watching this warmed my heart a lot. He likes cars so it was a perfect opportunity to show him a bit of my childhood.
When the cruising was over, E continued to sit next to the window til he was going to sleep 🥺 He wanted to watch so much more. Broke my heart when I had to explain for him that it was over.
but it still warmed my heart ~ he saw a piece of my childhood right outside his bedroom window 🥰
Where we used to live, it never happened things like this. And since we moved here we have seen it three times. Loves it every time. It’s a tradition here in my town. They always have it August 31rst (doesn’t matter if it’s in the middle of the week) just to “drive out” the summer. Now it’s officially autumn / fall here 😍🍂
I have blurred faces that were showing.
