I’m Swedish so I’m allowed to say this..
The health care in Sweden sucks!

I’m now at home — from being met with rudeness, ignorance and all that. Michaela, who drove me back from the airport in Sweden to my place and dropped my off at the ER. She stayed there with me for a while and I told her, straight out.. how this hospital works.

And guess what.. while having her on the phone when the “doctor” came back made her absolutely shocked. She got lost of words.

“Welcome to the health care in XXXXX” . I repeated to her.

So to make the post short: according to the “doctor” I met here in Sweden, I don’t have a fracture in my foot. Nothing! Only the ligament.

So, my question is.. why did the doctors in Germany say that I have fractures on TWO spots in my foot including the ligament.


I knew swedish Healthcare was a joke ….but damn.

When i arrived at the ER, they didn’t want to take me in. No matter how much I explained what happened. Showed them my foot AND my knee.

“Do you have the x-ray pictures from Germany?”.. Excuse me?? How would I have known that I was going to bring them back – I have never been to an emergency room abroad before. This was my first time, and how, as a patient should I have known this? Where is this information available to read?

So apparently, I have NO fracture in ny foot according to the Swedish doctor but according to doctors (yes doctors) in Germany my foot is broken.

I’m currently sitting in the couch at home. Trying not to cry. The pain is unbearable and I just want to chop my foot of with a guillotine.

I didn’t get any medicines at all – no painkillers OR the blood-thinning injections the doctors in Germany told me that I MUST take for 8 weeks!

Y’all see what I mean how horrible the health care is here?

They couldn’t even write a certificate for me to have when going home. No no! I’m not 85 years old so I wouldn’t get it. So I had to call a cab.. that cost me €70 .. FOR A 15 MINUTES RIDE!

Oh these two days (yesterday and today) has really tester my patience and tolerance to stupid people.
