› A Weekend in Snapshots
Let’s try to make a weekend recap every weekend. It might be difficult, but I’ll try. It would actually be fun to look back and see what I’ve been doing. Lol!
This weekend (July 5–7th, 2026) has not been anything special. Sweden’s National Day was yesterday, so E and I had meat, fries, and of course, veggies!
Long story short — my weekend in a few words:
Laundry ● Grocery shopping ● Soap bubbles ● Football in the basement hallways ● Migraine ● Sweden’s National Day ● Trying a new smoothie recipe ● Home spa
Grocery shopping: expensive as hell (sorry!) — $80 for THIS. < Link
Friday: meetings and snapshots of random things.
Saturday: playing football with E in the hallways in the basement. Oh man… We played for so long while waiting for each load of laundry. – spa night at home.
Sunday / Today: a chill-ish day. I played with M and basement football again, but sadly I had to leave for a while while M stayed home because I had a massive migraine. (I still have it, but it has calmed down a little so I can at least write this.)
And yes… grocery shopping again today—$70. WHY!? On what!? Just the watermelon alone cost me $12.
Other things I did this weekend: I finally had a little spa night. Face masks, cleansing, serums, moisturizer—the whole shebang, felt so good. Honestly, I do not remember the last time I did that, but it has been a long time.
Smoothie talk! Normally I make smoothies with frozen berries and milk (plus protein powder), but after a few minutes it always turns into some weird mug cake texture if I do not drink it immediately. So I Googled different ideas and found one saying to defrost the berries first and use water with just a little milk.
I tried that—except I used a vanilla milkshake protein shake instead of milk—and oh my God… it was delicious. And thick!
Raspberries, mangoes, and strawberries with a vanilla milkshake protein shake (sugar-free).
10/10 honestly. This is pretty much a little bit of my weekend. Nothing fancy or entertaining – haha!

› Sunday, massive body ache and the return
Hello my pumpkins! No I’m not only gonna post about photography. I will continue my lifestyle blogposts as well so don’t you worry my dears!
How are you all? Feels like forever I asked that! I apologize!
How are you guys!? Let me know ♡
I’m alright. Been sick for like two weeks but still managed to get myself out as you all have seen. I am much better now tho compared to few days ago. Luckily I have not been contagious according to the doctors I have met so I have actually been able to go to school earlier but I haven’t felt that well and not sure but this week I’ve actually been to school. Now I’m really struggling with math because my brain is mixing up how to calculate and I think my teacher is getting mad and annoyed with me. Haha!
Today, my body is really hurting after the fall i took the other day. My hips, thighs and arms is hurting really really bad so I can barely move but I managed to get up out of the bed and now few hours later I managed to get myself in the bath. So extremely burning hot water to help the muscles to relax and hopefully it works!
My body hurts also after the massive cleaning I did all day yesterday. Kinda regret it today but so worth it. How is it possible that a family of 3 has so much stuff!? Well, easy answer.. me. But I managed to get 4 trash bags to throw away and now it’s much better.
I have noticed so many bruises and marks after the fall it’s ridiculous. I only thought I had the finger wound but na. Oh well, life as a amateur photographer I guess.
So what else is new? Well the vacation to an other town didn’t happen. Unfortunately. I was looking forward to it for so long, made plans with friends, plans in my head where to go and snap photos, relax, cozy cafés etc. Hopefully an other time.
Yeah that’s pretty much it. I will be updating the blog more often from now on with lifestyle posts but will also have photography posts and more like I have had.
Thank you for reading and I spare you guys in this post with no photos. Lol!
Much love ❤️
