› EverFlow Was Never Just a Blog
Why I keep documenting my life and share here with you guys..

I mostly document photos for myself — due to me being stressed twenty-four hours, seven days a week, three hundred and sixty-five days a year for the past.. 24 years plus depression — my memory isn’t the best.
I suffer from memory loss and people get mad and annoyed at me in real life when I ask a question, get an answer on it and a few minutes later I ask the same question again. I get it. I would have been annoyed at myself too.
Same goes when I have spoken about something or sent something to my cousin (and best friend) and she says “Emma you have already told that” or “Emma, you sent those yesterday“.
It honestly makes me feel awful. Like I’m stupid (not only when my bestfriend tells me thing but anyone). So I made my blogs (I have blogged on many platforms on different blogs before) to have it as a journal for myself.
That’s what EverFlow was for me — my safe space. My corner where I could write about stuff and things to make me go back in memory and be like “Oh, I remember that time” instead of just looking at pictures.
For you, my documentation might not be anything special, but for me it is. A memory. For example when I go on an adventure with my son, and I write about it here — it’s for me to remember but also to tell people about good moments that have happened.
Normally I only hear negativity — which I have written a lot in EverFlow — so I decided to share more good memories, good moments and moments that genuinely made me happy. Moments where I genuinely feel proud, smile and just feel good.
EverFlow is also a safe space not only for me but for anyone. Sure I share my life here and it’s not as positive from people in real life but I also try to invite you guys to this home — EverFlow.
I rebuilt EverFlow from me me me me to a house, where the porch lights are on, coffee in the pot ready, blankets and candles and everything to make you feel invited.
I may be an odd person. A girl.. no sorry.. a woman with an alternative style but mi casa es su casa or how the Hispanic people say it.
So there is the truth. I suffer from memory loss. I want a safe space. A space where I can be myself. Have a safe space where I don’t get judged. A safe space where I can write about me, my depression, my battles but at the same time share happy moments, proud moments and smiles. Expanding EverFlow so everyone gets their own room in the house.
People are so hung up on followers, likes etc. Do you know what I call every single one of you? My family. EverFlow family. Each and every one who has subscribed to EverFlow is a family member. Not a subscriber, not a follower — a family member. A member of the EverFlow.
Sorry for a long post but I saw this question in a site (I don’t remember which one) and it got me thinking .. Why do I document my life and why do I share it with you. -
› When Self-Care Turns Into Self-Reflection
Pull Up a Chair · A personal reflections on perfectionism, self-care and learning to let things grow naturally 🖤
Normally Sunday is a home-spa night for me but I had to do it now – Tuesday. You know, cleansing, scrubs, masks etc. The whole shebang.

After these two intense days of trying to make everything perfect for EverFlow, I realized I had become too obsessed with perfection and had to force myself to stop — which was a massive struggle for me.
I will let this house stand on its own foundation, and we can decorate it together over time.
Yes, I have changed my focus for EverFlow. It is no longer just a place for me to share, but a home with room for others too.
I have created a new category with a few subcategories that I will introduce later, when the time feels right. What I can say for now is that it feels more inviting… and it makes this space feel less like “me, me, me” all the time. I have been feeling that for a while now, so I decided to change directions.
EverFlow will always be my home — my place to write, vent and share life as it flows. But I also want this home to feel welcoming, like a place where you can sit down, stay awhile and feel like part of something.
I hope you all understand what I mean.
Funny how a simple spa night turned into this realization…
