βΊ Life Lately | A Little EverFlow Update From Home
A little look at everyday life, social training, motherhood, getting around on crutches, and dealing with an injured foot.
Hello my spicy pumpkins! π€
πππππ
How are you all doing today? I hope you all have an amazing day / evening!
I thought I should post a mixed blog post with a bit of what I’ve been doing lately when I haven’t been blogging. Mostly photos though. A picture say more than a thousand words – isn’t that the saying?
E and I have been social training a couple of times β at the same time as we’ve been grocery shopping, but these times have been in town. Not at home. So it has been a lot of bus rides and walking. Shopping, spending time together, laughs, happiness but of course tears and sadness. Nothing special has happened with the sadness, but you can’t always have bright, colorful and happy days.

Alone on the bus. Take which ever the seat you want.
Telling him to slow down and go next to me is impossible.
Trying to keep up with the same speed as E when walking β that must look interesting and funny. Screaming blue crutches, a heffalump (me) dressed in black and probably with a backpack as usual. Even the thought of that makes me laugh! Like… what!?Do you know the boy who copies and making fun of his mom when walking? Little boy!

Thief. Always steal my extra legs. Haha!
I thought I’d share some photos from the time. I’m currently in bed, resting my foot, neck and stomach. Stomach pain after today’s visit to the hospital.
Update on my foot: 8/10 pain right now.Ice Cream Date

Broken adapter.. I accidentally dropped it on the floor. Now I know how an adapter for phonecharger looks like inside.
I need these as tattoos. -
βΊ Exploring Sofia, Bulgaria: Getting Lost, Unexpected Kindness & An Eventful Evening
Exploring Sofia is a challenge. You get lost (if you are me) and its rare to find people who speak English. Don’t trust Google AI for directions and Google maps just confuses you. Atleast for me.

Hey guys! How are you all?? I know i haven’t answered your comments BUT I SEE THEM π₯° I will answer them tonight – promise.
Yesterday I did some more damage on the cards (Yes, I went to an other shopping mall) but not as what I have spent so far – honestly its mostly on drinks I spend the most money on I have noticed. I bought two packs of hair dye and a set of hair ties. Yes your girl will dye her hair while being here in Bulgaria.
I have seen so many elderly women go with shocking purple, red, blue, green, even yellow hair colors and.. I LOVE IT! I love that they are so comfortable to do it. Me? I’m preparing myself mentally for this hair dye im gonna do. Will show you later but for now… its a secret – well not really – it’s purple.
Last night I I went out for walks. In the heat. With barely any air and no breeze. Plus people crowded everywhere so you felt like a fish in a tuna can.
Exploring, urban Exploring or what you would call it – I document life.
THE CUTEST THING HAPPENED While taking photos on different doors etc a cute couple came up to me when they saw I had a camera and asked me to take pictures of them. Ofcourse! I took a few photos and they were so sweet. “Can We pay you!?” I laughed and said no no its fine.Β All off the sudden the boyfriend offered me discount on tattoo (he is a tattoo artist) – TEMPTING Yes, not gonna lie but I said its ok and thanked them.
So when I’m on my laptop I will transfer the pics and edit to send them.

After many hours of being out in the heat, with shoulders screaming in pain due to crossover bag that was heavy, I decided to go back to the hotel. Rest my shoulders and get some AC going. I didn’t stay long . Maybe 1,5h later I was put again but this time – with a back pack. Much better but my shoulders are so sore today, haha!
Taking night pictures, exploring areas in dark (no this time i was around people all the time. Didn’t walk off) and just .. soak all the prettiness.
While being on my walk, with headphones on, I heard a massive fight and curious as I am, I went there. But instead of just “watching” I jumped into it. I saw men run fast as (sorry for this) HELL from all over to help out separate the two guys that was fighting. I was in the middle, screaming “ay!” And stop. There were kicks to the head on one dude, punches etc.
I know – EMMA WHY TF ARE U GETTING YOURSELF INVOLVED? Well, it have always done that. It’s in my nature and I never think of the consequences of waht could happen.
All off the sudden, while I was in the middle – mind you that I was holding my camera in one hand, trying to separate and stop these guys – in the middle of the “soup” (swedish saying) a man came and touched me on my shoulder so I looked and was ready to punch him but he just told me to come with as good English as he could. I felt he wasn’t a danger so I followed him. We didnt walk to a shady area, he took me to the front of the Mosque. So relax! I was safe.
He tried to explain as best as he could that the guys were on drugs – and when he said that – I knew for sure I am not getting involved – I had to actually THINK before action. Normally when fights I’m more – Action & ask later. Now I was Think first & Do the action?
It was one very interesting evening. Nothing special happened after this – luckily- so I just took photos.
Enjoy a few photos I took with my phone.
(Camera pics will come later but for now – only phone will be shown here)ββββββββββββββββββββββββββ
Time to go out again. Wish me luck! The heat is killing me.

βΊ Hello From Sofia, Bulgaria! My First Days, Shopping & Exploring the City
I slept for 18 hours, damaged my credit card and questioned people’s winter jackets plus being catcalled by old men and horribly rude staff in stores (the stores part will be a whole own post)
Welcome to Sofia with me, Emma – Everflow. Not your typical lifestyle travel blogger but here we are! First official post from Sofia but be ready for many more! Two weeks. Yeah. A lot is coming for sure.
Hot, sweaty, a lot of people and strong sun that causes me to have an extreme migraine.
The view of the balcony of my room. Interesting view for sure
I know I said I would blog when I arrived in Sofia. Well… I just went to a supermarket (Lidl) and bought drinks and water. I went straight to the hotel afterwards and was knocked out for 6 hours!
At night (when I woke up), I went out on the balcony and saw… I don’t know how many flying light objects “playing” around in the sky. I watched them for a few minutes while being on the phone, letting people know that I’m safe. After that, I went to bed and was knocked out for 12 hours. Yeah… I guess I was a bit tired.
So today I have done some damage to the credit cards. Well, not so much damage except food and drinks. Mostly water. Yes, I know the water is safe to drink in Europe, but there is something special about bottled water.
Today I went shopping for a cabin suitcase. After yesterday, my shoulder is destroyed from carrying the “cabin bag” I took from home. So when I went to Mall of Sofia (I will write about that one later β review etc.), I saw a store with 50% off bags etc., so I went in there and bought the beauty in the picture. Yes.. i bought a brown one. It was the biggest size of cabin suitcase they had.
I also went to Lidl and bought water, Pepsi Max (of course), toothpaste plus toothbrushes and a water bottle.
(The little toiletries box I bought in Sweden with toothpaste and a toothbrush… worthless…)
Of course, I went exploring as well, so below you can see some photos I have taken with my phone today. I had my camera with me, but it’s too hot outside to use it right now, so I’m gonna wait until later and take photos.
Btw, I’m dying in this heat and some people make me raise my eyebrows. Some are walking around in puffer winter jackets… IN THIS HEAT! Meanwhile, I’m over here dying. πThe Sofia Hotel AC
International icon. Migraine fighter. Life saver. Occasionally freezes Emma to death.
I will update more, but for now, the AC is my best friend β even though I’m freezing while lying in front of it, it helps with my migraine.
No. I won’t put anything over me β a blanket or something β because if I do, I will be K.O. (knocked out) and sleeping.
Hahaha.ENJOY A FEW PICTURES I HAVE TAKEN TODAYΒ (so far)

βΊ Bad Hotel Reviews Scared Me β I Changed Hotels Before Bulgaria
ββββββββββββββββββββββββββ
Thank God I trusted my gut when I was talking with a friend over on a communication app after he sent links on google maps. My gut and voices in my head (one of my demons π lol! Just kidding) told me to google and check out the hotel I was gonna stay at. THANK GOD I DID!
ββββββββββββββββββββββββββ
ββββββββββββββββββββββββββ
I read the reviews and.. oh my. I have never been so scared of a location before. The second I read those reviews, my whole body just screamed NOPE!
β “Piss stains on the mattresses”
βΒ Rude owner
βΒ Filthy and piss stains everywhere
β Broken beds, doors that was unable to lock
β Not safe for anyone
Are some of the few reviews i read.Β I don’t wanna think of how awful it would have been.
I honestly got so scared and terrified I had to message M with screenshots and tell him how scared iam for that place I was gonna stay at for 12 nights. Like…Nope. Absolutely not. No way in hell that I’m staying there. I would rather sleep outside than sleep there when I am in Bulgaria.
Luckily he managed to fix a new hotel for me. I am so happy. I feel relieved.
I don’tΒ have to be scared and worried about catching any diseases anymore – trust me… the photos people have taken on the other hotel i was supposed to stay at was .. no I cant even find the right words to describe it.
After he managed to fix the new hotel, I am excited again about the trip. I thought he wasnt able to cancel the booking of that terrifying hotel but he fixed it! ππΌββββββββββββββββββββββββββ
Me and my elephant β basically how I felt after reading those reviews.

βΊ Currently. Overwhelmed.

Why is this trip more overwhelming than the trip I did to Italy?
Is it just me, or do some trips feel heavier before you even leave?
I honestly donβt know β maybe some trips just come with chaos attached to them. So who knows how this one will turn out.. π β¦maybe good, maybe bad. All I know is that this trip feels more chaotic than the others Iβve been on.
