  • › Back Outside Again

Finally Had Some Energy to Bring My Camera Out. I didn’t realize how much I missed this part of myself.

Sometimes all you need is a camera and a quiet walk.

I haven’t had much motivation or inspiration lately to bring my camera outside and spend time taking photos, clearing my mind, and just relaxing.

    But yesterday, I finally did.

I was actually supposed to go out last Monday, but the sun was way too harsh all day, so there was no point. Then Tuesday ended up being rainy from morning to evening, and on Wednesday I simply didn’t have time.

    So yesterday became the day.

And honestly? I was so happy.

Holding my camera again, focusing on tiny subjects, adjusting the aperture and ISO, listening to music while walking around… I had really missed it.

I didn’t actually take that many photos, but I still spent hours outside with my camera bag over my shoulder.

The straps hurt my arms though, so I first went to a clothing store and bought those non-slip bra straps to try and fix it. That didn’t help much, so later I ended up going to a hardware store and buying seatbelt protection for kids instead.

    Surprisingly, it worked much better.

I also spent a few hours with my best friend. She came with me while I was looking for the seatbelt protection, and later we had dinner and milkshakes together.

When I got home, I edited the photos I took with my phone instead of the camera ones. I haven’t even checked the camera photos properly yet because I noticed while shooting that the focus kept landing on the bugs’ bodies instead of their heads.

Still, this whole day reminded me how much I miss this part of myself.

Spending hours outside with music in my ears and a camera in my hands makes my whole body feel calmer.

I really need to get back into it.

  • › A small moment that happened

    A quiet moment I know I’ll remember.

This AI picture of me and my parents. I don’t have a picture of us together, so I am so happy that AI could make this one for me. Of pictures of my parents and me. Combined three photos into one.

A small moment today that I don’t think I’ll ever forget.

My non-verbal son looked at an AI-generated photo of me and my parents and said “grandma” and “grandpa” in Swedish for the first time.

It was the very first time he said it, and I’m sitting here in tears and is still emotional when I think about this moment.

  • › I got sued by the internship for this….

So I had a meeting today.. With the headmaster or whatever you call it. The boss over the principal and school (preschools as well). I told the headmaster (operation manager, but that sounds odd) exactly what happened, how I have been treated, and how everything has been and is. What I and two witnesses saw/heard/experienced in the meeting, etc.

It felt like a positive meeting and the boss was very shocked and super concerned about the staff etc at the preschool and school.

She would start massive investigation about it all. Try fix so I can continue the education and remove the F’s I got in two subjects due to lies and made-up-stuff they all have said. She said everything sounded so odd and she also explained to me about the report. Yes I got sued at my internship for saying no to a child who abused another child.

I wrote this earlier but I tell again. I got sued by the staff and principal at my internship (preschool) because I said no to a child who smacked another child in the face with fists, and the two staff members who were outside (this happened during recess/playtime outside) had their backs towards the situation. I was 10-15 m (meters) from the situation, so of course I said no out loud. But yeah. Apparently I wasn’t allowed to say no to the child.

So automatically my teacher and the principal failed me in two subjects . Note that one of the subjects lessons didn’t start until last monday (11th of May)  and my internship ended 30th of April. Still she has failed me. How?!

So hopefully this will be solved and I can continue to move in the shadows. Let’s see.

  • › New start, new blog and a small introduction

EDIT: THE BLOG STARTS UNDER THIS POST! This is a “sticky note,” and I have now gotten help to import my other blog posts here from my old blog, so it isn’t empty!

(the rest of the journal post starts under this sticky note post)

Hey guys! I decided to make a completely new blog. Reason? So many reasons so I decided to make a whole new one. A fresh start. New start.

I will blog on this one from now on. I have bought a domain so I’m waiting on it to be active so this blog/corner/journal etc become more “real”.

For all new readers (maybe some are from my old blog), my name is E (will not write my whole name due to the restart of the blog) —goes by Mi. I’m 35 years old and I’m currently a Stay at home mom but studying on the same time.

In my little journal here i will have focus on lifestyle but will also share photos i have taken both of my regular life (moments etc) but also photos I have taken with my “professional” cameras – Canon. Yes I’m a photographer as well. So much!

I am very much into makeup and odd fashion so I will probably be showing that as well. By odd fashion I mean – all black, skulls, skirts etc. Think alternative / Gothic style.

I am also a plus size woman but is working on the weightloss so I will write a bit about that sometimes as well.

What I’ll not show in the blog is pictures of my son’s face. If I share, It will be either blurred or somehow not showing his face.

Like I said, this journal is focused on lifestyle and according to Google, this was a good name. Lol! So let’s see how it works.

Note; I am self-taught English so I apologize for wrong spellings, wrong grammar etc!
