› Hello October! Life Lately, Halloween, School, Mental Health & Everything In Between | The EVERFLOW
So much has happened lately, my head can’t stop spinning. Building furniture, studying, shopping for the home, my mental health declining, celebrating 20 years as best friends and 2 years as cousins. Social training and so much more.

Hi, hello my pumpkins! It’s October and that means that it’s Halloween. Yes, Halloween started for me already in October last year — mentally — but in things etc. Oh well!
How are you all? I hope you all are doing amazing! How has your fall been so far? Or maybe you have another season? I know in some countries it’s summer now etc. Yeah, I can’t really have my brain work through that process at the moment. I know about Earth, rotations etc., but too much for me right now.
So, any plans for the upcoming week? I’m having meetings and celebrating my best friend / cousin who turns 37 tomorrow! 🥳 Woop.

I have so many pictures to show you all, but I thought I would make a collage later with some photos. I am currently in bed right now, struggling to stay awake 🥲 so I will fix it in the upcoming days — I’ve got a few things left to send my teacher > assignments < before I get new ones PLUS a big exam on Tuesday. Do not look forward to that, but the show must go on.

Goodnight my pumpkins! And sorry for being absent from EverFlow. -
› Back to School, Hygiene Nightmares & One Unexpected Internship Win | The EVERFLOW
Good evening my pumpkins! How are you all?? I’m currently in bed with pain in my shoulder but hey – normal for me.

So.. I’ve been at school today! Woho, I managed to get my booty to school. Miracle. This time I’m not unwell (sick, migraine etc), so – off to school I went .
Today’s class (the first class of the morning) was disgusting. We had a hygiene routine (not the disgusting part), and we spoke about (the disgusting part) pinworms, blood-borne infections, scabies, etc. The teacher even showed pictures and videos of it, and thank God I sat all the way in the back. When she said she was going to show a video of this, I immediately moved my desk and chair so I was behind a pillar or whatever it’s called. I was not paying attention to it at all. I was playing games on my phone. Like, I can handle vomit, body fluids, etc., but that? No.
Also today, I found out I do not need to do this semester’s internship! WOHO! 🥳🥳
My internship that I had when I studied my other education that I passed — just because I passed that internship, I am “free” from school for four weeks. I will have assignments to do, though.
So my mood today, even till now: relieved. Happy. 🖤
I can not reallybexpress how I really feel. After what happened at my old internship, iam beyond happy – I can not find the correct word but I think you get it.I am now off to bed – school tomorrow! Good night my beautiful pumpkins 🎃🍂

› Hello Fall! Life Lately, Crutches, School & A Little Bit of Chaos
Fall is here, the leaves are dancing, the crutches are still following me around, and life is… well, life.
•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°
Hello my beautiful pumpkins! 🎃🎃
Now it is officially fall! (I know I say it again, but honestly, fall is the best season according to me.)
I love the cold air, the color shift on the leaves, seeing them swirl, “dance” down and give their last performance!
I have been quiet for a bit, I know. The reason is that I really don’t have much to tell at the moment due to me being on crutches. Well, I’m supposed to use them, but as you all know me, I’m stubborn as hell. 😂 I used them in the beginning, but now I’m fighting through the pain because I don’t want to need them anymore.
I still bring them with me if I go out — to the city, for example — in case the pain gets unbearable and I need a bit of “pain relief.”
So, what’s up with you? Any updates?
For me? Nothing really.
• Voted in the election — meaning, I did my duty as a Swedish citizen. 🇸🇪
• Slowly stopping one medication to introduce another one over time.
• Not amputated my foot — miracle.
• Studied.
• Had a fever last week, so no school for me.
• Had a birthday dinner date with my Queen Alien — my best friend. Yeah, I know, she’s my cousin, but that is so weird to write/say, so I will not mention that again. 🥲

› Back to School on Crutches | A Little EverFlow Life Update

Hello my spicy and beautiful pumpkins! 🖤 How are you all? “Long time” no seen.
I am truly exhausted — both mentally and physically!
Jumping on crutches is a pure workout and I am NOT built for workouts. Give me cookies and milk and I will be a happy person. Lol.
Anyway…
The reason why I have been absent is because I have been mentally preparing and struggling with school — yes, I know. Shit happens and I hate it there, but I do it for my son. Not only for him to have after-school care, but also to show him that it’s okay if you don’t graduate high school. You can always get an education later in life.
Monday: First day. Not prepared. Read here; [ link to Monday’s post ]
Tuesday: Went to school for like 1.5 hours. I couldn’t stay for a whole day. I was almost falling asleep in class, couldn’t focus and had a migraine on top of that. I hadn’t slept that night because of massive stomach pain that kept waking me up every 30 minutes. It was awful, and it kept going nonstop the whole Wednesday as well.
Friday [today]: Half day — woho! Love that!
Today we had a test — yes, a test already… first week — and I passed it. Woop!
We also had a “roleplay” where the teacher divided us students into two groups — four in each. We had to do a roleplay where two of the students were preschool kids and two had to be the teachers. One mean teacher and one “good” teacher.
Guess which one I was?
……….. *pause for guessing* ………..
If you guessed the mean one, you are correct!
So me “yelling” and being mean to one of the children — I went all out. I was acting like this horrible, mean teacher.
Wow! Almost so good that I deserve an Oscar!
That’s how good I was. 😂
After school,
I came home, supposed to do homework, but honestly — all my energy went into going to school and jumping around on crutches. My hands and arms are actually hurting from it, to be honest. It is brutal! I don’t understand how people can do it day in and day out to be honest! You guys are strong!
At least I’m going, which is a miracle for me.
Sure, I get a lot of stares, but I’m rocking those screaming, insanely blue crutches.
They are so ugly! It’s ridiculous.
Tomorrow I will study. I had to do paperwork for the insurance company, Lufthansa and their bullshit and yeah…
Exhausted Miima for sure!
So here is a quick post, quick check-in.
Hi! Here I am! Exhausted but still alive — barely — and ready to post again. Getting back to my routines again!
Thank you so, so much for checking in on EverFlow and for being patient with me. I really appreciate you! SO MUCH! 🖤
Much love to you, my pumpkins! 🖤 -
› The Hug I Really Needed
I Went Into Town Angry and Came Home Almost Crying
Am I losing it? My mind?
I made the decision to not continue school because of everything that happened. I told the teacher. I told my classmates. And still, she sends out the next semester schedule and information about what books we need.
Like… why?
So now it has me thinking. Even though it would be a financial struggle for me, maybe I should continue after all.
Why?
Well… partly because I honestly want to piss the teacher and principal off. Yes, I am petty. I know that. But after everything they put me through, can you really blame me?
But there is another reason too.
If I do not have school or a job and I am home during after-school hours, my son will lose his after-school care placement even though he genuinely needs it for his social development, routines, and support.
So I am stuck in a really difficult situation right now.
Because the truth is: I *do* want this education. You all know that. But at the same time, the principal, the internship, and the teacher completely killed my sparkle for it.
And honestly? Staying home all day would probably mess up my head too.
Speaking of the internship…
Today when I went into town for a meeting, I got the biggest hug.
I was walking between the coffee shop windows and the small bus station when I suddenly heard knocking on the glass. So I turned around and there she was — a mom I used to work with — smiling and pointing toward a child inside the café.
The SECOND that little girl saw me, she started jumping up and down.
I rushed inside immediately.
And oh my God 😭
The second I got through the doors, she came RUNNING toward me so fast that I barely had time to lean down before she literally flew up onto me and wrapped herself around me like a tiny octopus.
She did NOT want to let go.
I have not seen her since my internship ended, so seeing her again honestly hit me right in the heart.
Then her mom told me something that almost made me cry right there in the café.
Apparently, this little girl asks almost every single day:
“Where is Emma? Is Emma coming?”
That completely broke my heart.
So I explained to her mom what actually happened during my internship and how I had been treated. Let us just say… she got MAD. Like genuinely angry on my behalf.
Meanwhile, my little octopus was still clinging onto me 😭
Unfortunately, we eventually had to separate because I had a meeting to get to and she was there with her mom and friends.
But wow…
I really needed that hug more than I realized.
Me and this child connected instantly from my very first day there (not the child connected to the accusations before anyone starts wondering), and seeing her again honestly made me remember why I loved this in the first place.
A small hug really can make the world feel softer sometimes.
And today, I really needed that softness. So this had me thinking as well.
