› Enough Adulting for Today

Enough adulting for today.
For the first time ever — in my whole life — I defrosted my freezer. Never needed to before, but now? Oh god, it was time.
Yes, I admit it, I have never done it before except on my chest freezer and due to the heat in Sweden right now, I felt so stressed. No, I’m not ashamed to admit this 😂We have something called “Röt Månad” which basically means that food and drinks go bad really fast.
So imagine me using a metal spatula, boiling hot water, three bath sheets and one hand towel trying to defrost everything as fast as possible.
Honestly, I wish I could say “enough adulting” but sadly I have a lot more to do before it’s time to go to sleep for the night. Fold laundry, clean up, make dinner, pack E’s bags, get him ready for sleep. Shower (again), pack my cabin bag and yeah 😵💫 so much.Wish me luck – I’m gonna need it.

› My Thursday — In Simple Points
——————————————————————————
My Thursday is simple points
Unsolicited picture ● laundry ● sitting in the laundryroom since 13.49 {M took care of E} with a fan from storage ● Applied for jobs ● Had a phone interview from one of the jobs I applied to ● Dinner ● Changed phone numer — the new sim-card came today ● closed my old phonenumber ● Migraine ● hearing E eating popcorn while watching a person making miniature cakes on YouTube
— I got a textmessage from a recruiter of the work company I applied work to and had my phone in my hand so I called her up and ohmy how surprised she was when I introduced myself 😂 I have a meeting with her next week
— Unsolicited picture > read here
— 10 days to Bulgaria —— WHAT!? I must continue to pack the suitcase. It’s insane how quick the vacation is coming up
— My new phone number starts to work today and I’m keeping it private – just some people are allowed to get it. Reason? Part One and Part Two here you can read.——————————————————————————

Vibrant to make it pop but ohmygod how orange i became. -
› Running low on energy — where is the charger?
Anyone else who says “I’ll just rest for a bit” and then wakes up two hours later? 😴 No one? Oops, I guess It’s only me this time.
Today has been a chill day — cleaning, doing dishes and making dinner for the two men at home. Me? I ate a bit, but not much.
At 6pm I went to bed to rest and fell asleep for two hours. Oops.
Honestly, I think my body needed that rest more than I realized. I’ve felt unusually tired today, so I’m actually surprised I managed to get things done even though both my head and body felt tired.
Pepsi Max, raw fried potatoes and chorizo sausage were on the menu today (with Pepsi Max sneaking around in the shadows for me — trying not to give any to my son since he’s even more addicted than I am).
That’s pretty much my day. Sorry for being a bit quiet today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
Tired momma — where is the charger when you need it?
Are you a nap person? Have you ever accidentally fallen asleep for two hours without planning to? -
› Currently. Overwhelmed.

Why is this trip more overwhelming than the trip I did to Italy?
Is it just me, or do some trips feel heavier before you even leave?
I honestly don’t know — maybe some trips just come with chaos attached to them. So who knows how this one will turn out.. 💀 …maybe good, maybe bad. All I know is that this trip feels more chaotic than the others I’ve been on.

› Weekend Recap: Motherhood, Chaos, Pizza & Small Happy Moments

Welcome to this weekend recap where I’m sharing a few small happy moments from a chaotic weekend filled with motherhood, pizza, and everyday life.

Hello my beautiful flowers ✨️ I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Did you do anything special this weekend? I would love to know.
My weekend has been… chaotic. For real…
My son has had a hard time regulating his emotions and even broke his bed, so it has definitely been a wild ride this weekend. Read some about it here – People Stare, I Explode — A Raw Autism Parenting MomentA few glimpses worth mentioning: we ate ice cream, had pizza for dinner {read this post here — Italians probably dislike me}, and while I didn’t actually need to do laundry, I took E down to the laundry room so he could sit and watch the machines go to help distract him from his strong emotions.
I’ve also been “working” all day making banners, labels, organizing the home (EverFlow), and trying to make it feel more open and welcoming for everyone.
And by all day, I mean during the moments when E has been calm for a little while. We have cuddled and played as well, but from time to time a mom needs a break — at least this momma does.
Pepsi Max, design, and quietly observing the situation, you all know the drill ~ Pepsi Max is my life elixir 💀
I’ll reply to your comments once E has fallen asleep. Sorry for not being very active with that over the past few days.
