  • › Life Lately: Mental Health, Family Life, Market Weekend & My Son’s Magic Wand | The EVERFLOW

Hello my spooky pumpkins! How are you?? What have you been up to? Anything excited has happened?

Sadly, my mental health hasn’t been good for the past few days, which has resulted in me isolating myself from people. Just locked inside my home.

But it’s currently a little bit better right now

    •°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•

It’s currently a new week, and I wanted to show you guys what has been going on this past weekend (September 4th–7th) where I live. Tradition.

Every year, on the first weekend in September, we have a market with vendors and a funfair, and this weekend it was here. I didn’t go as I usually do — the entire weekend, every day, from Friday to Sunday. This year, I actually only went on Sunday. One day! Not three!

M texted me on Saturday morning (he was at work and were done with his shift almost) asking what I thought about taking E to the market. I answered, “You can try,” which resulted in me hurrying up and getting E ready. So M took E to the market alone to social train and let him participate in / experience it as well. I stayed home because it would have be to much for E. It’s better that he only focuses on one parent.

When they came home, I asked with excitement and curiosity how it went. E was smiling and so happy, and M told me it went wonderfully. It went so well! I was (and still am) super happy and super proud of E for doing this big thing!

E came home with a new toy and a “magic wand.”
He has been talking about magic wands after watching the TV show Bing (the British children’s show with the bunny — picture below of it), where there is an elephant girl who loves dressing up as a fairy and has a magic wand.
It sounds crazy, yes, but it is really cute, to be honest. And it has caught E’s attention. And as a parent to a child with special needs who gets fixated on certain things… You buy it!

So E came home with one “magic wand” and a new toy. The happiness was priceless. He showed me the things M bought him so proudly, and I couldn’t stop smiling.

On Sunday, E and I went to town because I was going to drop E off at a friend’s place. After that, I decided to go to the market — to buy two things only. > A second magic wand (in case the first one breaks) and my candy.

Sadly, I didn’t come home with my candy.
They have raised the price so much! $10 — so now it costs $20 per kilogram — and I refuse to pay that. Last year it cost $10 per kilogram. Plus, they have discontinued my favorites — the orange flavors. So… it did itself! No candy for EverFlow.

Although, I came home with three “magic wands” for E, so I was actually happy. I’m actually gonna hide these away so we have as backup when the first one breaks (and I can try repair it – I grew up with these and even sold at markets so I know how to fix them)

    I grew up with these.

    The “magic wands”.

So, I went through the whole market (yes, with my foot.. no crutches. I know.) , and I’m honestly very disappointed. The vendors sold the same stuff. Nothing unique or special.

And the prices? OH LORD! Crazy!
I thought I was gonna pass out.
    Holy cow! 😂

You could also get a REAL tattoo at the market.. ALL OPEN! No real equipment,  or proper set up. I want more tattoo but I be damn refusing getting one at places like this.

I took a few photos. I kinda miss this life – going on markets, growing up with funfair etc. Lol.

    The “real-looking” Bing.

  • › Hello Fall! Life Lately, Crutches, School & A Little Bit of Chaos

Fall is here, the leaves are dancing, the crutches are still following me around, and life is… well, life.

    •°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°

    Hello my beautiful pumpkins! 🎃🎃

Now it is officially fall! (I know I say it again, but honestly, fall is the best season according to me.)

I love the cold air, the color shift on the leaves, seeing them swirl, “dance” down and give their last performance!

I have been quiet for a bit, I know. The reason is that I really don’t have much to tell at the moment due to me being on crutches. Well, I’m supposed to use them, but as you all know me, I’m stubborn as hell. 😂 I used them in the beginning, but now I’m fighting through the pain because I don’t want to need them anymore.
I still bring them with me if I go out — to the city, for example — in case the pain gets unbearable and I need a bit of “pain relief.”

So, what’s up with you? Any updates?

    For me? Nothing really.

    • Voted in the election — meaning, I did my duty as a Swedish citizen. 🇸🇪
    • Slowly stopping one medication to introduce another one over time.
    • Not amputated my foot — miracle.
    • Studied.
    • Had a fever last week, so no school for me.
    • Had a birthday dinner date with my Queen Alien — my best friend. Yeah, I know, she’s my cousin, but that is so weird to write/say, so I will not mention that again. 🥲

  • › Back to School on Crutches | A Little EverFlow Life Update

Hello my spicy and beautiful pumpkins! 🖤 How are you all? “Long time” no seen.

I am truly exhausted — both mentally and physically!

Jumping on crutches is a pure workout and I am NOT built for workouts. Give me cookies and milk and I will be a happy person. Lol.

    Anyway…
The reason why I have been absent is because I have been mentally preparing and struggling with school — yes, I know. Shit happens and I hate it there, but I do it for my son. Not only for him to have after-school care, but also to show him that it’s okay if you don’t graduate high school. You can always get an education later in life.

Monday: First day. Not prepared. Read here; [ link to Monday’s post ]

Tuesday: Went to school for like 1.5 hours. I couldn’t stay for a whole day. I was almost falling asleep in class, couldn’t focus and had a migraine on top of that. I hadn’t slept that night because of massive stomach pain that kept waking me up every 30 minutes. It was awful, and it kept going nonstop the whole Wednesday as well.

Friday [today]: Half day — woho! Love that!
Today we had a test — yes, a test already… first week — and I passed it. Woop!

We also had a “roleplay” where the teacher divided us students into two groups — four in each. We had to do a roleplay where two of the students were preschool kids and two had to be the teachers. One mean teacher and one “good” teacher.

    Guess which one I was?

    ……….. *pause for guessing* ………..

If you guessed the mean one, you are correct!

So me “yelling” and being mean to one of the children — I went all out. I was acting like this horrible, mean teacher.

Wow! Almost so good that I deserve an Oscar!
    That’s how good I was. 😂

    After school,
I came home, supposed to do homework, but honestly — all my energy went into going to school and jumping around on crutches. My hands and arms are actually hurting from it, to be honest. It is brutal! I don’t understand how people can do it day in and day out to be honest! You guys are strong!

At least I’m going, which is a miracle for me.
Sure, I get a lot of stares, but I’m rocking those screaming, insanely blue crutches.

They are so ugly! It’s ridiculous.

Tomorrow I will study. I had to do paperwork for the insurance company, Lufthansa and their bullshit and yeah…

    Exhausted Miima for sure!

So here is a quick post, quick check-in.

Hi! Here I am! Exhausted but still alive — barely — and ready to post again. Getting back to my routines again!

Thank you so, so much for checking in on EverFlow and for being patient with me. I really appreciate you! SO MUCH! 🖤

Much love to you, my pumpkins! 🖤

  • › I don’t want to be here

Here we go. Quick post. Been preparing myself mentally for this. I hate it here.

I tried wavy hair today. I don’t know if I like it or not. I am so happy that I have a hair cream that makes my hair feel and look thicker! Remind me please to buy more of that cream! My hair is so think and my hair breaks off so easy. I hate it.

    •°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°

Back to school – even after what happened but I have to do it for my son. I hate it to be honest. For my son? Yes, i do this so he get after-school care to be with children and to get help with he’s development.

But going here, for me – my feeling, thought and opinions – shows that I accept and is ok of what they did – which i don’t! I am still super mad but here i am. Forcing myself, struggling to focus and to listen. My mind went in “attack” mode – not hurting them but more in fighting/defense myself mode. Just Because of that. I can’t focus. Every time the teacher talk – I honestly get irritated. Hopefully it will go away soon. I hope. For my son and for my future of my career – Hopefully.

    •°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°

Yes, I’m still on crutches even though I am stubborn to avoid using them and forcing myself to go as “normal” as possible.

I had to ask for elevator key at school. I have my classes on the third floor – 60 steps. To many steps!  So signing papers, showing my ID, showing school card etc. Just to get the damn key.

    •°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°

It’s currently lunch and I’m sitting here, listening to the songs I’ve written. Good lyrics 🤘🏼 Ego and brag? Ofcourse.

    •°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°

Jumping all over in this post but here I am! E is going to he’s friend tonight so I will have time to study and edit some photos! Woho! I finally found the harddrive where I have all the photos from the trips!

Wish me luck. Five more hours of this hell 😩 😵‍💫
